Muchacha Italiana Viene a Casarse #117 2-10-16 Take Your Apellido and Shove It!

Ciao, Peeps!  Let's jump right in with a quick summary!  Andiamo!  As usual, feel free to correct and expand!
  • Fiorella continues to rake her new-found parents over the coals and outright rejects their suggestion that she take a DNA test.  Santino says its a legal formality so that he can arrange her inheritance and give her his name.   Fifi ain't having it!  She's proud to be a Bianchi and she doesn't need his stinkin' money!  The only thing that matters to her is Gianna's heart transplant surgery!  She invites them to leave!

  • Sergio and Julieta report to Pedro at ACorp on Fiorella's rejection and refusal to take the DNA test.  After much persuasion, he agrees to talk to Fiorella to try to convince her to take it.

  • Turns out the heart that had been found for Gianna is not compatible with her blood and tissue. Gianna doesn't know whether to be upset or relieved.  The whole household (minus Freddie) is supportive.  The same can be said for the loving support offered Roxi.  Everyone, except the hateful Freddie is there for her.  There is a later scene of Benni and Roxi at his parents.  They are supportive and it is the setting for an awkward and unfunny comic relief schtick where Adela is having trouble not mentioning Quina's name or death or the word mother. . .yah.  Not funny.

  • Sergio does what he does best:  bending his elbow (drinking).  He blubbers to Sonia not to ruin her child's life like he did to Pedro's.  He talks to Fiorella about how he admires her joyous spirit and optimism.  This is right after she put her parents out of the Ranch.  She somberly tells him she doesn't feel so joyous and smiling is getting harder and harder all the time.  She dreams of being in Maratea, with her family, in the good old days.  The pickled jerk attempts to tell Fiorella about his thinking he's her sperm donor (at least I thought that's what he was about to say to her) but she is called away to tend to Gianna.

  • Osvaldo takes the videos of Augustin and little Gael back to Augustin and they argue vigorously about the plan to give Gael his name.  Bottom line:  If Augustin loves Gael so much he should get lost!  Revealing Gael's true parentage will hurt his family and ruin his future because he'll lose the social capital of the great and illustrious name of Angeles AND his rightful inheritance.  Augustin stands firm that Gael is his son and no one will separate them!

  • Sonia is actually nice to Fiorella.  They bond over Sonia's pregnancy development book.  Fiorella asks what it's like to have a life growing inside you.  Sonia waxes dreamy and poetic.  Doesn't Fiorella and Pedro want to have babies?  Well, yes, *blush, blush*, but not now.  She tells Sonia she will be a wonderful mother.  The cell phone rings.  It's Pedro.  She practically begs him to come home.  He'll be home tomorrow, he's at an important meeting out of town having to do with ACorp's crisis.

  • Okay.  I promised I would do this.  The investigators find the bottle of poison drops that Federica planted in Pilar's bureau and Pilar is actually under suspicion for poisoning Dante!  AAAAARRRRRRRGHHHHH!!!!!!  The poor thing cries helplessly over and over she didn't do it and no to Eloisa's question if they are her drops.  I can't flipping believe it!  There is lukewarm, no, not even lukewarm defense of Pilar to the Investigators by Fidel or Eloisa or Sergio. Even in the employee's quarters at dinner Domingo only half-heartedly says there is no way Pilar could plan such an act when she can hardly put two words together!  Freddie sneers that Pilar is not as crazy as she acts and nobody calls her on it.  This is so flippin' crazy I can't even. . . .

  • Os talks to Pedro who is in hiding at ACorp.  ACorp really IS in crisis:  it's not just a front for him to get away from Fifi!  They are near bankruptcy!  Osvaldo shares his concern but wonders why he's not more concerned about his mother.  What about his mother?  She's under suspicion for the murder of Dante!  Oh, I feel like screaming again!  Poor Pilar!  What does she get?  She gets to talk to Alina!

  • At the Big House at the dinner table all the talk is the drops.  Freddie, who poisoned Eloisa, drugged her and dumped her in a dangerous neighborhood without identification or money and who was named by Dante as the prime suspect for his death if something happened to him, that bitch sits at the table and instigates and mocks the family for being so worried about the servidumbre in El Rancho.  I tell you I am so beyond tired of her sneering and sniping I'd like to bust a cap in her ass, I'll tell you what!  Uuuuf!  Okay, okay. I'm all right.

  • Still at the dinner table, Eloisa asks where Pedro is.  Fiorella says he's on a business trip. "Business trip?"  Sonia asks innocently, "Osvaldo told me he saw him a little bit ago at ACorp."  Ooops!  Fiorella looks stunned, sad and confused all at the same time.

Seriously folks, this is a total Patio effort.  I've given you the skeleton, whether edited-out scenes or clarification of what they actually showed last night, feel free to have at it to flesh it out!  Mille grazie!

LILA that was one awesome recap, but Aaaaaghhhh....the frustration of the episode!
Thank you so much for the meaty yet concise summary. But these last capitulos are starting to feel like the trimmings on the butcher shop floor instead of the steak...

Yah, you called it--they are trying to blame Pilar, the one person who couldn't possibly have left the house to obtain poison, of poisoning Dante. Why didn't Domingo mention seeing Feddy at Pilar's dresser drawer?

And what was on the rest of the video confession that we didn't see because Feddy slammed the laptop shut?

Who was the other person who offered to be a heart donor besides PapiChulo?

And I'll repeat my note from late in yesterday's comments: I bet Sergio turns out NOT to be the father of either Pietro OR Fiorella.
Sorry, this is sort of rambling...
Lila you did a great job with a dismal episode!

J in ORegon

Oh, poor Pilar continues living a hell, they need to stop torturing her. Pietro needs to care more for his mother than to try to save the company or hide from Fiorella. Even Sergio should be assuming his responsibility as his husband instead of messing up with Pietrellas marriage.

Freddie indeed is the devil just like Maximo was. Are we sure that Gabriel was really her father? What about if she is another unrecognized daughter of Maximo? Ok no, shut up Marla, shut up.

Oh the old manipulator Os returned, dam. Now he wants to ruin Gaels relationship with Agustin and separate them.

Gracias, Lila. I think this was a complete 164.

This is truly horrid. Domingo needs to remember seeing Federica messing with that drawer and someone needs to tell the police that Pilar hasn't left the house since she's been back and can't be left alone for much longer than a few minutes. Will it even matter who?

Somebody also needs to tell Fiorella the real reason for the DNA test. If she hadn't reacted as she did to the big reveal Santino's argument would make complete sense. Taking his name doesn't negate her past life. I'm sure Santino and Julieta will make good abuelos for Fiorella's future children.

That Federica is still running around loose is disgusting. She needs to be locked up now.

Buongiorno! Come stanno tutti?

Mille, mille grazie, J in O!

Thou speakest truth:

these last capitulos are starting to feel like the trimmings on the butcher shop floor instead of the steak...

J in Oregon, I could just repeat your whole comment! Domingo saw her right at the dresser drawer! He didn't say anything to the investigators when he brought Pilar up to her room nor did he say anything at the dinner table in the employee's quarters. I AM TIRED OF THEM BEATING UP ON PILAR!!!

And that useless piece of shit father of Pedro has thus not only help render Pedro useless to Fiorella but to his mother who is suffering this atrocity after everything she's been through! I hope he's not anybody's father! Why didn't the writers kill him? ENOUGH ALREADY!

J, it's all good, you're not rambling but I AM FUSSING!!!

Hey, Marla! I could repeat your whole comment, too. Sergio and Pedro have failed Pilar abysmally! And I am so tired of Freddie running rampant through the house, getting away with murder and spewing venom everywhere. And what's so killing about it is she's probably not done!

Marla, we have been all over the place trying to figure out who begat who. With the hints they've been dropping and having needlessly killed off Quina, there's no telling WHAT they will come up with!

Who is it that says GAH? Well, I'll join you, GAH!!!

Grazie tantissimo, Urban! You are so right! My gosh! Everybody's comment needs to be just repeated. You are dead on! I don't think I've been this frustrated since Aitana and Eloisa usurped Pedro's announcement of noviazgo with Fiorella!

Taking his name doesn't negate her past life. I'm sure Santino and Julieta will make good abuelos for Fiorella's future children.

True, Urban! Unlike Gael, Fiorella has nothing to lose and everything to gain by taking Santino's name. Maybe she can hypenate it:

Fiorella Bianchi-Ortzini de Angeles . . .or something. Don't know what the Mexican naming conventions are.

Lila, I understand your frustration and all the more appreciate you sticking with these recaps. YOU and Sneaky...epitome of recapper dedication.

If it wasn't I invested so much time already in the show and I desperately want to see Gael and Gia make it in one piece thru this...and together...I would give up now.

Fi has turned into a screeching shrew, the self-centered denizens of that house couldn't even muster an ounce of indignation over Pilar's plight ( or they think poor her, but she's a good scapegoat and we can hide her again?) and the continuation of allowing Freddie to run roughshod and free makes absolutely no sense, except the writers think it is "good" plot angst. Ah folks, no, it's not.

And you are so right--that Adela/Rey scene was not funny and I thought poorly written to show what is a loving couple being so insensitive. That was uncalled for.

So we DON'T have a heart donor, so now back to our specs on who it will be. Since Os is being a total jerk again ( hello, Gael can have an inheritance and keep his daddy too---maybe, oh, I don't know, they could all get together and pool resources to make sure it happens if he's kicked off the will?) I vote he's back on top again. He does something to hurt my pretty eyes, I'll wax dangerous. (Nice close-ups in that argument last night. At least I was happy with the director.)

But I doubt it would be Papa as I would think too old ( though fine in the looks department). Sergio is totally expendable right now, but he's too pickled, so that leaves Os, Gael, Rox etc. So my money is back on OS - Sonia will be fine, and maybe even better, without him in the long run.

May this company go under! Lose it all folks. Take what you all have and move on. Of course something will happen that Fi is Santino's daughter, she will inherit money ( does Santino have to die??????????) and save the company. Barf.

Did I already say I'm really hating these ultimates???

Saw an advertisement finally, and it was fast, for the next show. Didn't seem too interesting the little they showed. Anyone know what it's title was and what it's about?

Daisynjay

Grazie, mille grazie, Daisynjay! Well, the 6th grade writers have brought out righteous indignation and eloquence in all of us!

the self-centered denizens of that house couldn't even muster an ounce of indignation over Pilar's plight ( or they think poor her, but she's a good scapegoat and we can hide her again?) and the continuation of allowing Freddie to run roughshod and free makes absolutely no sense,

That drove me crazy, Daisy! There silence gave credibility to the suspision when the KNOW Pilar is nearly catatonic from trauma and they KNOW Freddie kidnapped, robbed, chloroformed and abandoned Eloisa and at least Eloisa knows Freddie POISONED HER!!!! JEEZO-FREAKIN'-PETE!!

I'm glad you got some eye candy from a stormy-eyed Papi Chulo last night. Man is too damned fine!

Re the heart, there was some joking amongst the house staff about possible changes to Gigi's personality from the heart she ends up getting. Girl, ain't no telling who's heart they give her. I wouldn't even be surprised if they let her die. Idiots!

Here's a link to the next show: Un Camino Hacia El Destino. The executive producer is Nathalie Lartilleux, of La Gata "fame."

http://television.televisa.com/telenovelas/un-camino-hacia-el-destino/

The male lead is Renato, was that his name? from Sombra, the poor schmuck who was hopelessly in love with Aldonza.

I'm not doing anything produced by La-Toodle-o ever again!

I think Fiorella will come to the realization before the end that her fate was meant to teach her something. She will eventually forgive Julieta and Santino because they truly had no other choice that wouldn't have gotten them both disowned by their parents back in the day. Both were pampered children of the rich who knew nothing of hardship. Fiorella has suffered hardship, but she had a loving family. It really annoys me that so many adoptees in fiction discount this.

Fiorella knows that money can't buy goodness, friendship, or true love and this is what the Angeles family has to learn from her. Pedro seems to know this, but the others haven't learned much.

Helloisa might have the outdated notion in her head that keeping a madwoman locked up in the family home spares the family public scandal. She needs a visit from the ghost of Edward Rochester.

Urban, I hope Fiorella recovers soon but I'm okay with her having her moment of disillsionment and rage. As Santino said, they DID do the best they could with what they had at the time. Look how fate sent her to the loving, warm family that she grew up in: the rich Roman family were killed and Mario was hospitalized in the same hospital as infant Fifi but he was well enough to adopt the baby and take her home. Mario and Salina must've then conceived Gigi a few years later. So, out of tragedy she ended up in the Bianchi home and is the person she is today. Surely she'll reflect on this and eventually forgive Julieta and Santino. They weren't able to be her parents then but they are now and yes, they probably will save the whole Angeles Empire as well.

Business aside, Fiorella coming to terms with her past would be enough but they had to throw in this stupid clandestine boinking incident. What is Fiorella going to do when she finds THIS out? She'll probably be way more pissed at Pedro for not leveling with her and running away than she will be at Sergio as well she should be!

Like her or not, she HAS stood by Pedro and this family through some heavy hostitlity and rejection and given the Angeles more consideration than she's giving her biological parents. And THIS is how he's repaying her? Instead of talking to her up front and getting the DNA test, which I'm sure she would have agreed to, he's more wrapped up in being repulsed by her because she could be his sister. . .that is, thinking about himself, instead of figuring out how he can get to the bottom of this quickly and be there to support her and Gianna and DUH -- his mother whom he's really ignored since she came back from the freaking grave!!

Lila - Thank you for the sassy, snarky recap!

This episode . . . ugh. Oy vey. What can I say? I will share the quote here on the sidebar that speaks a mountain of wisdom:
". . . Just let it go, let your brain float like a canned pear half in partially-set red jello...
--"Creemelo"
Really, Patio peeps, this is our best defense! Ommm ..... 0mmm ...... Ommm ......

At this late point in the game, No way Sergio is Fi's bio-dad. There's not enough time to process and get closure with it. My money is on this being a red herring, a lame-o plot device.

Yes, the telenovela that replaces this will be something brought to you by the one who did La Gata. No wonder they've put off telling the general public. I'm watching Eugenio Siller in Quien es Quen, so that's my replacement 'novela.

Grazie tantissimo, Doris! Girl, you are right. Those side bar quotes are there for a reason. Yah, these ultimas semanas have turned into a big vat of partially-set red jello!

You know what? Anybody disagree? Chime in! Maybe you're loving these last minutes antics. Maybe it's high telenovela art and we're just not appreciating it. All opinions welcome!

Put me on record as not liking these things happening out of the blue. After Telemundo's Pasion de Gavilanes I can smell an artificial extension a mile away. MIVAC was probably very successful or the series that followed it not ready so they did this. Lame.

There is one more thing I'd love to say but I'm saving it for Closing Remarks after the finale airs.

Wow, I wake up to another lovely Lila recap. Thank you so much!

Geez, they are yanking Fio in so many directions, and I'm not finding it interesting. I totally agree that the all-of-a-sudden weak kneed Pedro is a disappointment and not acting worthy of the girl who always keeps her promises.

Yeah, the sooner this is over the better. The writers are just delving into stuff that is too fantastical and unbelievable.

There is so many reasons to believe that Freddie should be behind bars, yet no one can connect the dots.

I thought early on that Sergio was a drunk and a womanizer because of the trauma of losing his beloved wife. Now it is clear that he is just a weak, worthless waste of oxygen. I hope Pedro sticks by his word to not know anything else about his dear old dad.

So Os hasn't completely changed for the better. That was really cold, the way he treated Gael's dad. Gael hasn't been into drugs since he met his dad. Did you ever have that effect on him, Os. Butt out and attend to Sonia.

Thanks again Lila.

David

I hear ya, Urban. So. Word in the telenovela univese is this ends Monday, February 22 so I have to make sure I get the recap up pronto so we can get everything off our chest from Monday evening, all day Tuesday up until the first recap of the next show, Un Camino Hacia El Destino, UCHED. We will need every minute to debrief and kvetch!

Mille grazie, David! With their "six months only" rule, maybe this is the last time viewers have to suffer with these idiotic extensions and improbably plot points. If they don't snag Freddie before the weekend. . . .

I thought early on that Sergio was a drunk and a womanizer because of the trauma of losing his beloved wife. Now it is clear that he is just a weak, worthless waste of oxygen.

You said it, brother!

I suspect that Osvaldo has been having asshole withdrawal since he got religion. It was bound to come out sooner or later. I did enjoy a few episodes of him NOT huffing and puffing! How did this get to be his decision? Yah, take care of Sonia indeed and let Gael consult with Pedro to help him decide what to do.

*improbable

Two things:
Fiorella's negative reaction to Julieta and Santino is waay over the top and getting tiresome. Totally out of line with her previous character, IMHO.

Also, programming note: horrified to learn the 7:00 PM replacement is by La Toodle-oo. OH noes! I am tied to either the 7:00 or 8:00 show on Uni, this is disheartening. Insert worlds glummest frownie-face here.

J in Oregon

Perhaps Osvalso's relapse into douche-baggery is the lead up for him as a heart donor? That and ominous background music ...? And the comment Pedro made when OS came into his office?
Though I hate to see Sonia left a widow just when he is treating her well, she will have the Angeles clan to help raise him. Oh, wait, what am I saying? That band of idiots? Ommm.....Ommm.....Ommm.....

Yah, J, they are over doing Fifi's upset. Was it you that pointed out Osvaldo had a loaded gun to her head and was going to kill her and she forgave him? Now, if Fiorella had ended up with a horrible family and had been the object of physical, psychological and other types of abuse, this would fit perfectly. She never showed Vitto this much anger, never showed Osvaldo or Dante any, very little to Freddie, a little more to Aitana.

Everything that she is was because of the loving Bianchis. They would not approve of her acting this way!

Perhaps Osvalso's relapse into douche-baggery is the lead up for him as a heart donor?

Doris. I think you're right!

Oh, Lila! I'm so glad we have you to shepherd us through these last, craptastic episodes of this tn. I have nothing to add to all said above, except thank you. Let's hope we start seeing a few happy developments soon.

Awwww, grazie tantissimo, Vivi!. I'm afraid to say it can't get worse! We know this daymare will soon be over and that's a happy development in itself!

This makes me wonder whether any of these writers are aware that a lot of what we are complaining about ruins the overall quality of these programs. Now that people can research spoilers on them does it affect their rebroadcast value?

You are one tough cookie Lila for hanging in there. Thanks bunches.

"The poor thing cries helplessly over and over she didn't do it"

I'm sure Pilar wished she was back in the safe confines of the psychiatric hospital.

Finally Fifi remembered Gianna. I mean, couldn't the runaway parent thing wait till after Gianna had her HEART TRANSPLANT?

Petey hasn't disappointed me by running and hiding under the bed at a loud noise.

This show includes the biggest bunch of selfish torturous pigs & dumb-asses I think I've ever seen.

Paulina Goto is so cute and loved her in Mi corazón es tuyo. How unfortunate her choice of a La tootle production may end her career before it starts.

Mille, mille grazie, Tofita!

I'm sure Pilar wished she was back in the safe confines of the psychiatric hospital.

Amen, sorellina! Much better than this velvet-lined hell hole! I am SO disgusted with Pedro, especially, I didn't expect much from Sergio, for abandoning Pilar. She really IS "dead to them!"

Here's another keeper:

This show includes the biggest bunch of selfish torturous pigs & dumb-asses I think I've ever seen.

I'm just through for what they did and are doing to Pilar!

Tofie, I'm going to miss y'all. I just can't with a LaToodle-o production!

Lila, I don't blame you none and I'm with you, La Gata done me in. Just cannot give her another 100 hrs + of my life. She insults us all. For us to believe we'll miraculously get different is folly. Someone financially backs the tripe she produces so that's her recipe and she'll stick to it.

I was born in the US but my mother cooked only Thai till my brother and I were school age and we began asking for more western fare and she would try. Bless her heart it was horrible, take away her wok and everything was a mess but my father always told us she'd get better with encouragement. A soggy fried pork chop, gimme more, salty bitter mashed potatoes, yum, yum, mac and cheese soup, uh, mamma you out done yourself. As a young adult with encouragement from a new bf, the future Mr. tofie, I wanted to whip up a Thai dish. I went to my mother for help, she questioned why afraid my palate had changed, preferring western food, cause she hated it. What do you mean mother? Well, she hated the porkchops were fried but soggy, the mashed potatoes were bitter and way too salty and who puts cheese and macaroni in soup? In her effort to please my brother and I she assumed our continued mass consumption of what she considered slop, with encouragement by the way, proof she was getting it right. We laughed till we cried. Oh, I cook killer Thai.

Oh, no Tofie! There's a lot to be said for tough love in cuisine and other critiques in life! Lord! Did your Mom give up Western? Don't know a lot about Thai but the few times I had it, it was yummy! Seemed so healthy, too!

Tofie-- I see your point about La Toodle-oo: different recipe, same old sh!t...

Has there ever been a TN that everyone agrees was well done from beginning to end? Seems like the last few weeks, the majority of them fall apart at the end or otherwise cause mutiny on the Patio.

Anyone know what is coming on next on Uni at 8:00?

J in O

My mother rarely ate anything other than what she cooked, her largest struggle was finding fresh vegetables or an appropriate substitute. My father acquired a taste for western fare. I remember having friends over when I was young and they would love it and gaze in wonder as my mother stood on a short stool to reach a huge wok on the stove. I never though much of having coconut milk, three types of soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, 10 different types of curry, egg noodles, rice noodles, or watch as she pounded away at something in a mortar in a squat on the kitchen floor. Funny, but when we have dinner parties part of the draw is my cooking and all the women are gathered around me as I'm doing the same and love it when I ask one to go get 10-15 leaves off my kaffir lime tree, beware the thorns.

PS Tofie: I was not talking about your mother's cooking!
:o)

JnO I thought you watched Yo No. It was at the 10 eastern slot and ended in December but I loved that one and didn't want it to end.

Cooking as performance. . .must surely whet the appetite!

One day I will watch a 10 o'clock novela. It would have to be damned good and not too violent or it would keep me up. I'm too much of a wimp!

I thought the Carla Estrada novelas, Amor Real and Alborada were good from beginning to end. Ditto for Teresa.

Now Lila, bless you for mentioning how tasteless and tactless that lame attempt at humor was in the scene at Benito's home. I get that the writers like to throw in a little humor amidst the pathos, but that was so contrived and so so un-funny. And as if Roxi wasn't thinking about her mom all the time anyway. Just stupid. And not at all funny.

Thoroughly impatient with last night's dragging and unnecessary amplifying. As for Domingo, Federicka threatened him with losing his job if he talked about her rummaging in Pilar's drawer. So that unfortunate scenario will be dragged out beyond all bearing also.

SO READY FOR THIS TO END. And so sorry to hear that the show to come is an offspring of La Gata fame. No good can come of that. Well, back to books for me then!

But Lila, thanks aren't enough, given the herculean effort you have put in on this. Sending you virtual flowers, candy and some Valium m'dear!

"Has there ever been a TN that everyone agrees was well done from beginning to end?"

My list:

La Hija del Mariachi
Betty la Fea (original Colombian version)
Amor Real
Alborada
Corazon Salvaje '93

Lila thanks so much for the recap and filling in what I missed yesterday
I was running around all afternoon and couldn't comment yesterday.
I like your fussings and snark better than the epi
AAAAAHHHHH
Why can't we get past the stupid stuff and get on to enjoying the happy endings, they could draw that out instead of this.

I hate when novelas put that whole are they brother/sister plotline. I have a feeling they're going to run like a day or 2 before the finale. Btw. i have read the summary's for the past couple of months, but I didn't have time till now to comment

*Run with the sibling plotline 1 or 2 days till the finale

Grazie tantissimo, JudyB! Thanks for mentioning that about Freddie threatening Domingo with the loss of his job. That is true. He had to beg to get it.

What happened with the security cameras? There have been multiple breaches of security within the house; although intrusive, it seems these need to remain functional until they flush "the culprit" out. Seems silly even typing that: it's so clear it's Freddie!

JudyB, thank you for your warm appreciation and for the flowers and candy! The cameraderie and mutual suffering of this Patio beat the Valium any day and I'm sure going to miss it!

Didn't see it live but Corazon Salvaje '93 was good from beginning to end! A1 in every aspect!

Mille, mille grazie, Sneaky Two Shoes! You are so right. They could totally have wrapped up the story and let us have some happily ever afters and some time jumps. Sure, it would probably get sappy after a bit but it's better than these crazy shenanigans!

Hi, Sheila! That's probably what they will do!

Lila, I don't see the comment I wrote this morning which I thought I posted.

Due to the late hour, I will simply extend my heartfelt thanks for your excellent recap.

"Sergio does what he does best:bending his elbow (drinking) was my favorite line of many"

My heart went out to Fiorella last night and of course, to Pilar. Hasn’t the woman suffered enough?

Lila, I continue to be impressed with your stout dedication and commitment to this.
Sneaky Two Shoes, a huge thank you to you as well!

Diana

Good afternoon my dear folks. I have read that Candela Marquez alias the mop hair will be in the new novela that will substitute Muchacha Italiana. I also read that she is doing a similar character in the novela.

Oh, no, Diana! I am SO sorry your comment got gobbled! Darned Blogger! Diana, I am so glad you have hung with us. This has been a memorable ride for any number of reasons. Hanging in here for me is easy with good folk like you on the Patio! Grazie tantississimo, hon!

Oh, she's in Un Camino Hacia El Destino hunh?

Diana! Okay, Blogger is weird. I just had a comment I posted hours ago reappear just now! Don't know as I have any control over that. This weirdness is probably what happened to your comment!

Yes Lila, Ratana will be in Un Camino hacia el destino. I checked up the wikipedia page of the novela and the actress name comes in the cast and I also saw in twitter a picture of her in the novela. She has almost the same look.

Oh well, I'm going to sit that one out. Thanks, Marla!

Tofie--no, I didn't see Yo No Creo...I'm turning the lights out by 10:30 PM or so...and I do miss alot of the good-looking shows.
Marla--So sad that Raitana actress is in the Un Camino, I may be stuck with that one...unless there is something good coming on at 8:00...?

J in O

Well, I hear that something called Sueño de amor MAY follow it. Emphasis on the MAY. Google at your own risk!

Grazie Lila, you hit pretty much everything ok
I do understand your frustration. Nobody seems to be working hard enough to help Pilar and to get that skank Freddie out of the way. she's walking around there Planting evidence setting up people to take the fall for something she's done. And what's really disgusting about it is they didn't press any charges against her when she did what she did to eloisa. Why is she still walking around like she haven't done anything wrong? are all these people crazy or just slow, maybe?

And pedro walkin around being scared of his
Shadow. Why does he need to talk to some body else to tell fifi to get a DNA test? why don't he just go into the room get some hair out of her brush and cut some hair off his own head and his father's head and put it in a plastic bag and take It to a hospital to the lab and get it tested. The writers have these characters acting like thoughtless boobs. It's like they can't come up with the simplest ideas how to get out of the conundrums they are in.

Lila I guess we'll have to be patient. The weekend is a day away. Reeeelaaaax!!! And
We get all frustrated again monday. Yaaaay!!

Thanks again girl!!!♡♡♡♡♡ :-D

I couldn't get my first comment on cause that
Little square box you touch to put a check in
Wasn't there, you know the one that says "Im
Not a Robot". I hate it when thst happens.
Anyways the net ain't perfect.

Nina I was thinking the same of the DNA test but oh well is a novela and if the characters were smart, there would be no story at all. Sometimes writers are forced to extend novelas when they already have planned the ending and they have to come with something under the sleeve. As to why Freddie is still free, well the same we can ask of Helloisa and Osvaldo.

True, but at least the writers let them change
While freddy seems to have caught their evil
Bug. Shes now tripple the trouble. O joy!!! I still think pilar may surprise everybody. I do not think she's all that out of it. That look on
Her face, that lady is planning sumethin.

Maybe Pilar fakes craziness when is convenient, but I agree that sometimes she talks like a normal person, even more normal that all the Angeles family together. And I think that she can sense peoples bad or good vibes.

Lila--I glanced around for Sueno de Amor, looks like an Osorio production, I think he's the one who produced Mi Corazon Es Tuyo?
Well, we shall see...*sigh*...
