Que Te Perdone Dios #89

First, I realize I've been MIA lately. It's been due to school,  familial affairs and allergies. I apologize.

Second,  let's cut to the chase; Diana woke up and is apparently going to hold a certain thing she heard at the right moment over Fausto's head. That's quite the plot device and way to get the ball rolling faster.

Third, there's a nueva etapa. I wonder what's in store for us.

Lastly, this is for fun but is anyone going to watch La Vecina online?

Hoping everything is going OK for you Corazon!

Please send your prayers to my home state of TX down here due to the recent storms & floods!

Corazon- Glad things have settled down a bit.

Steve, Carlos, and our other amigos in TX and other areas affected by the crazy weather, I hope you are safe and well.

Right Steve---The folks in Texas need our prayers, lots of them.

OK. So I watched this last night, and I have missed quite a few episodes over the past weeks.

-Diana and the babies are going to pull through, thanks to the efforts of Dr. Pat, Di's OBGYN, and that nifty retro-futuristic looking oxygen mask.

-Mat tell Helena that Abi is in danger because Fausto has the hots for her. She confronts him in Diana's hospital room and threatens that she will tell Mat that Fausto is his daddy, not his uncle. Diana wakes up just in time to hear this valuable piece of info.

-Looks like Max and Teo are actually going out now. Lucio slimes up to Teo to remind her of the fun times he had raping her. Max punches his formerly beloved daddy and tells him to stay the hell away from Teo.

-Max confesses to Padre Tomas that his daddy is Fausto's hitman, and they are both evil. The killing started when Lucio was but a boy. Padre Tomas realizes he's been had, BIG time. He goes to see Mel to talk about how evil Fausto and Lucio are and what a fool he's been. Mel mentions that last time the last padre (Tomas' uncle) was having the same thoughts about confronting Fausto and Lucio about their evil, he met his end in an unfortunate accident...

-Real Ximena pays Lucio to make sure Pat can never be with Renata. Hint, hint. She tells him to just ignore her if next time he talks to her she seems to not know what he's talking about. Better yet, don't even ask her or tell her anything about it. Barragan catches her on her way out, and she lies that she's there to check in on cancer-stricken Max.

-ex-Crazy-Connie sees the death date Barragan will be putting on Pablo's tombstone and realizes Bruno couldn't have killed Pablo. He was out of town! Barragan realizes he's likely been had and lied to, by Lucio...He goes to see Lucio and tells him he needs him to come into the station for some routine follow-up questions.

-Fake Ximena/Daniela, aka Ximela, has dinner with Porfirio who continues to be perplexed by her split personality. He threatens that if she leaves she won't get a dime. Unfortunately, he's threatening the wrong sister. He asks her about her ex husband. She speaks of tender Pat, and Porf realizes that she never loved him because she's still in love with her ex.

A BIG, BIG thanks for your help Vivi.

You're welcome, Gringo.

One more thing-- Fausto takes the anonymous note Mac left for Mat, telling him the babies are really Fausto's, and forces Mac to eat the note. She keeps denying she wrote it, but Fausto doesn't believe her and doesn't care. Even if she didn't do it, this will teach her a lesson to keep her mouth shut!

Thanks Vivi for your help. You are simply the best. This is getting interesting. The secrets are s l o w l y coming out. I just jumped up with joy when Max slugged his useless dad. Teo has a defender at last. Don't you just love it when the bad guys don't get their way. We have watched for 87 episodes the wicked getting more impossible, hopefully the other side will get some points too. The plot lines get sickening sometimes.

Mac having to eat that note was brutal, and she makes it so hard to feel sorry for her.

I'm not sure what made Teo turn around her feelings for Max. Just because he is sick?

Time for Mac to bring out the gun already, the proof that Barragan needs to incriminate Fausto.

Padre Tomas finally gets a clue, and then takes a page from doorMat in an over the top avowal to right his wrongs. Not sure why he just takes Max's word, when the rest of the pueblo has been telling him the same thing all along.

Thanks for the recap of the episode Vivi, looks like Diana has one more of Fausto's secret to threaten him with but i think any of her plans might probably backfire. I really don't feel sorry for Mac after all the wrong she has done. It's also funny how every priest in novella learns the truth about everything from confession but ultimately prohibited from talking by the oath of silence they are supposed to keep.

Anon 10:45- The thing is, Padre Tomas has been told the truth, multiple times by multiple people, and outside of the confessional. He just refused to believe it because he was totally snookered by Fausto and his supposed vow before God.

Thanks for the recap Vivi. I actually got a big laugh when Fausto forced Mac to eat the paper, did he forget to say "Bueno Apetito"? What poor manners! Mac has been eating dirt all the time, now she tastes paper for the first time maybe she should go to a paper eating contest perhaps she will put on some weight.

I was like Yahooo when Di was about to die but too bad that the doctors were just too good :( . Atleast the twins get to live but now Mat & Diana are back together again ugh. I suppose we will have to tolerate Mat's dumbness much longer,.

Anyway prayers to the victoms from Houston , the floods were historical. Hopefully they manage to drain the water out somehow so that the ones stuck in a mall could escape ( Most of the garages are almost completely flooded)
