3/24 Tuesday Hasta el Fin del Mundo #153  There is a disturbance in the Force; Dr. Phil makes a guest appearance.

Depa de Armando
Papito is mucho depressed after seeing the news article about Alexa and Paolo.  Nandito very astutely guesses Paolo may be to blame for the breakup between Armie and Alexa.  Armie admits they've decided to take a break from the relationship.  Dr. Phil, in the role of Nandito, asks why.  Armie explains Alexa will be very busy with her movie and he's got a lot of work at the fabrica.  He admits he misses her, a little.

Casa de Ripoll
Dr. Phil, now playing the roll of Dani, attempts to get at the root of Lucas' anger with his mother.  He doesn't understand why Rosa would have the nerve to go to his home to announce she's leaving when he had made it very clear he never wanted to see her again.  Dr. Dani asks some probing questions, “Is that what you really want – for her to leave again?  Have you considered your mother may have returned for a reason?  If she were as bad as you say she is, why would she have bothered to come back at all?”  She then points out Rosa's positive actions.  For example, she was very supportive of WBB and making all those posters.  Lucas agrees that was nice and also remembers the cover charge was Rosa's bright idea.  But are these small gestures supposed to make up for all the pain she caused him?  Dr. Dani continues to dispense her good counsel and tells him Rosa's return proves she's sorry and that she loves him.  Lucas shouldn't pass up the opportunity to get to know Rosa.  He should keep his heart open, or in Dr. Dani's words, his antenna, or he could end up regretting it the rest of his life.

Mar de Amor
Setting:  Bonfire by the beach, a full moon shines down on our Tortolitos, and the sweet nothings commence.  Chava:  Every moment I'm with you is like a dream, Sofia.  Sofia:  I've been living in a dream since you've been by my side.  Just you and me, away from everything. It is a feeling I never want to forget.  Chava: That's why I want to engrave in my memory every gesture, every part of your body, every look, so that I will remember we are as one.......FOR-E-VER.  Smoochies

Yate de Perdición SD-3 (Soy el Diablo, Clase 3)
Peralta recalls toasting to Sofia and telling her he wants to treat her like a queen. His thoughts are interrupted by a call.  The maid back at Penthouse de Perdición calls to say something is wrong with Dulliver.  He's home, but he's a lot duller than usual.  He hasn't budged from the couch.  Scene switches to Dulliver who is indeed sitting on the couch, crying and scrolling through pics of him and Dani in better days.  Papa Peralta calls and acts as though he's just called to say good night.  Oliver is in shambles.  He can't say what's wrong, only that it's the worst day of his life. Sniff.  “No one can help me,” he says.  “Dani dumped me for Lucas.” waaaaaaah Peralta bares his snaggly teeth, “WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!”  He's so angry he even throws a perfectly good cigar overboard.

Casa de Piroll
Lucas thanks Dr. Phil, who is sitting in for Dani today.  “You always help me see the other side of things.  But, neta, it's gonna be awfully hard to forgive that woman.”  Dr. Dani agrees it may take time, but if he asks Rosa to stay, he'll be giving himself the opportunity he needs.  Lucas sure has missed his “Risitas”, and she sure has missed her “Guapurita”.  He tells her he won't let anything ever separate them again and it doesn't matter that everyone disagrees with their relationship.  “I love you, Lucas”  “No, I love you, Dani” smoochies.

Penthouse de Perdición – Gnashing of teeth continues
Oliver continues to cry over Dani dumping him.  Geronimo matches his sadness with anger.  He can't believe that stupid girl dared to dump him for that vulgar thief!  Ollie cries that he really lurved her to which Geronimo replies that he's on his way.  Ollie tells him it's not necessary, he'll be fine.  Geronimo swears Ollie is the most important thing to him and he won't leave him alone at a moment like this.  Oliver continues to protest, but Geronimo's not listening and says he'll be there in a few hours.  He calls for Aldo to batten down the hatches; they're to set sail for D.F.  He swears that stupid girl will pay for what she did to his son.  Hey, Gerry may be an evil, property stealing, evildoer, but you have to admit he stands by his son.

Casa de Ripoll – Grrrrreta's Boudoir
Iker thinks a relaxing massage would be just the ticket for the now prostrate Grrrreta.  Fausto disagrees.  Her blood pressure is much too low.  Besides, it's very late and Iker should go home now.  He's done enough for today.  I'll say.  Greta says it's fine for him to leave and Iker takes off.  Grrrrreta can't believe her daughters.  Alexa is involved with a married man.  Sofia has fallen in love with a nobody.  And now, Dani is back with that thief!  How can she possibly relax........she falls silent.  Fausto becomes alarmed.  He checks her pulse, which is very low, then calls the Doctor.  Grrrrrrreta is muy mal!

Depa de Pato
Pato's on the phone with Silvana.  He claims to miss her and her, how'd he put it?, her fire!  Making love to her is like poetry.  No one can give him what she does.  Silvana wants proof and asks him to come to her right now, right away.  Saved by the bell.  Someone is at Pato's door and Silvana immediately becomes suspicious he's got some floozy coming over to console him.  He tells her to cool her jets, whispers he wants her, then clicks off.  He answers the door, and yup, Silvana was right, it's a floozy.  “Hola Guapo, have I come at a bad time?”  Pato is surprised by her visit but invites her in and the smoochies begin.

Casa de Ripoll
Doctor announces that Greta's arrhythmia has returned.  Gasp!  Doc is trying to stabilize her when Dani walks in and Fausto tells her he's not surprised at Greta's condition what with all the sobresaltos (shock) she’s suffered!

Casa de Miguelina
Lucas reports that his reunion with Dani didn't go over very well with Grrreta.  He assumes Miguelina may have to find another gig.  He tells her Greta took the news very badly and was very pale when he left her.  He can only hope she's ok.  He lets it out that Geronimo told Greta that story about him stealing his watch.  Miguelina apparently hasn't heard this story.  He explains it was long ago, when she still worked for the Peraltas and that this caused the breakup of the bromance between him and Oliver.  Oh, and that's why she lost her job.  Isadora didn't want to worry Miguelina with the supposed robbery as being the reason for firing her.  Lucas swears to her he never stole anything.  Unfortunately, Greta now thinks he's a thief as well as a lowlife.  Miguelina is incensed at this.  Lucas is very sorry he's caused her problems with her job.  Miguelina tells him not to worry.  She'll speak to Greta and if she wants to fire her, well then that's God's will.  She tells him he should appreciate what Dani did.  Knowing what would happen, Dani never denied their relationship.

Casa de Ripoll
Doc is confused that despite two different medications, Greta's arrhythmia has continued.  He wants to try yet another medication and will recommend additional studies if the results aren't better.  He tells her to follow the same instructions as before and above all stay away from worrisome situations.  Fausto assures the good doctor they will do all they can to make sure Greta remains worry-free and follows his orders to the letter.

Mar de Amor
Sweet nothings:  Sofia knows this weekend will remain engraved in their memories forever.  “And in our hearts, mi amor,” responds Chava.  Te amaré, te amaré como no es permitido.....

Casa de Miguelina
Miguelina wonders how Lucas and Dani will handle things at the plant when they come across Oliver and Mirasol.  Lucas isn't sure and is certain things might get complicated and Marisol may even quit.  He's concerned about that since she really needs the money, especially now with her pops ill.  He's not worried about Oliver cuz his dad's so wealthy.  Miguelina drops the bomb on him that she's asked Rosa not to leave.

Miguelina tells him she doesn't ask that he accept Rosa as his mother.  She explains his father wasn't the type to share.  Yes, he told her some things, but not everything.  When it came to Rosa, however, he was different.  He shared everything with her and she was a good wife to him.  Miguelina's told Lucas about his father as a child.  But she knew very little about him once he grew up and that's why she hasn't been able to tell Lucas very much about his father.  Rosa, however, knows everything about him.  Miguelina is sure Lucas would like to fill in the blanks about his father's life.  Rosa would be able to tell him things Miguelina doesn't know about. For example, how he was so looking forward to his son's birth.  She only asks that Lucas consider this.  She's not asking that he forgive Rosa or to accept her as his mother.  She tells him to do it for himself so he can get to know the father he never met.

Casa Ripoll
Fausto is giving Dani a good talking to about her breakup with Oliver.  He can't believe she told Greta about her relationship with Lucas knowing full well the condition Greta is in.  Greta was simply fascinated with the thought that something serious would develop with Dani and Ollie's relationship.  It's inconceivable Dani would dump Ollie for Lucas!  Dani asserts herself and says she will defend her relationship with Lucas just like Sofia has defended hers with Chava.  Fausto reminds her that Greta not only rejects Lucas because of his social standing.  No, no, there's something much more serious. There's that incident with the watch.  For Greta, Lucas is a thief.  And she doesn't even know about him being detained......Dani begs him not to say anything to Greta about that (when he nabbed Sofia's purse).  Lucas is a changed man.  Fausto explains he just wants to make sure Greta doesn't suffer any more anxiety.  He just hopes her daughters can put a limit to what they do and say.  It seems to him that they’re inconsiderate.

Penthouse de Perdición
Olliver is still on that couch, weeping over pictures of him and Dani.  “Hypocrite!” he cries when he sees Lucas standing beside Dani in a picture of the three of them together.  Geronimo walks in but Oliver doesn't want to talk.  He doesn't want to think of Dani sleeping with his best friend.

Casa de Ripoll
Alexa comes in all excited that people asked for her autograph and even took pictures with her!  Dani congratulates her.  Dani then tells her how she dropped the bomba on mums about her relationship with Lucas.  And, well, she didn't take it well. They even had to call the doc.

She looked better after the doctor gave her an injection.  Dani was dying from worry.  It seems so strange, considering all the meds she's been taking.  Alexa says it's almost as though they conspired to make Greta ill.  Alexa aggravated her in the morning and Dani took a turn in the evening.  Dani tells her it was a terrible situation.  She tells Alexa what Fausto said about them not having limits, etc.  Alexa still believes it's best for Mums to know everything.  It's time there were no more secrets in this house.  Dani believes it best that they avoid causing Mums any more anxiety.

Penthouse de Perdición
“I told you so!” yells Geronimo.  He knew that two-bit, thieving, varmint was going to turn on him.  Oliver remembers only too well he was warned but he doesn't have to throw it in his face!  Geronimo tells him he needs to realize once and for all that he can't go his whole life helping every Tom, Dick, and Lucas.  Especially those not at their social level.  “You are the son of Geronimo Peralta!  And it's time you started acting as such.”  Oliver realizes his mistake in trusting Lucas and Dani.  Geronimo, pointing his finger in Ollie's face, says, “You have to make it very clear to that dumb girl that no one, and I mean no one, can humiliate my son!”   Ollie is distraught and Dad is muy, muy angry.  I mean, smoke coming out of his ears angry!

“You're only making me feel worse,” says a weeping Ollie.  “The last thing I want is to see Dani.  I'm going to resign my position at the plant.”  Geronimo refuses to accept this and grabs Ollie by the shoulders.  “Never!  I will not allow you to admit defeat.  Do you want become that girl's laughingstock (hazmereir)?  Is that what you want?”  Ollie declares he does not.  “Then you show that Daniela Ripoll and the whole world that you are much more an hombre than that thief!  First of all, you must regain your self-confidence and be decisive.”  “Dad, can I do that after I gave my all to this relationship and my heart (soul) was broken?”  “Of course you can.  You are a Peralta! And don't you forget it!”  Wow, I never thought I'd be cheering for the bad guy.  Good advice.

Mar de Amor – ok, we get it, they're hopelessly in lurve!
Oh no!  Crabs!  And it looks like their headed straight toward our Tortolitos!  Good thing they're in the shower together!  They just put that shower in there for all us naysayers complaining about the lack of accommodations in the Love Shack at the Tribal Council.  Sofia:  “With this trip, you've given me the happiest moments of my life.  I never thought I could be so happy.”  Chava:  “I couldn't get you out of my head from the first day I met you.”

Centro de Desterrados
Iker/Christian has arrived to pay his sister a visit.  He heard the desperation in her voice and knew he had to see her.  She's happy to see him.

Depa de Pato
Pato is thinking back on the call from Sylvana telling him she feels so lonely and misses him terribly.  No bimbo at the depa to distract him from his thoughts this time.

Casa de La Loca y la Drama Queen
Irma pokes fun at Aracely when she sees her primping at the mirror, joking she must have found a new galán.  Dagger eyes from Aracely, who says she plans on visiting with her father.  “Oh, well good thing you'll have him all to yourself,” says Irma, “since Sofia is off somewhere cavorting with Chava on some beach.”  “Have I ever told you you can be insupportable at times?” asks Aracely.  Irma ignores this and sends her regards to Paco.  She wonders how Paco will act toward Aracely.  She suggests Aracely find a novio to improve her mood.

Casa de Miguelina
Lucas admits there are a lot of things he'd like to know about his father.  He warns Miguelina that if Rosa tries to act like his mother, he'll cut her off right away.

Penthouse de Perdición
It's a new day and Oliver is still moping, “Dad, I was in love with Dani.  I still am, but......” Geronimo interrupts him, “Stop suffering over what she did.  Cancel out all your feelings for her.  Stop feeling sorry for yourself (compadecerte).  First, you need to overcome this vulnerable state you're in.  Then, you will be able to get that girl to come back to the hombre I'm going to make of you – the dignified son of Geronimo Peralta!  Now, go shower cuz we're going out.”  ok, his advice just took a dark turn

Casa de Paco – La hija Prodigal? Not!
Paco is having his own Pity Party, going over pics of him and his daughter in better times.  Aracely comes in and apologizes for coming in without knocking.  Paco is overjoyed to see his daughter and gives her a big bear hug.  She accuses him of being rude to her when they last spoke.  He apologizes but says he fails to understand why she reacted with such hatred upon learning she had a sister.  Aracely coldly tells him she didn't come by to speak about Sofia.  She only came to visit him.  Paco is so happy to see her and quickly takes her hand, asking if she's already had breakfast.  She's not hungry.  Paco shows her the pictures he was looking at.  He tells her he's pulling some out so he can give them to Sofia.  Ooooh, bad move, Paco.  Aracely quickly throws down the picture she was looking at.  “You never gave me any of those pictures!  Not even when I left for Monterrey but yet you're giving them to her.”  Paco explains it's just a way for her sister to get to know him better.  Aracely gets up to leave, saying she shouldn't have come.  Paco asks her to please not be this way.  “How do you want me to be?  Now you put her first.  You're even giving her your memories.”  He protests it's just a gesture.  Aracely refuses to hear anymore and leaves in a huff with Paco pleading for her to stay.  Poor Paco.

Casa de Chava – One day you're in.  The next day, you're out.
Lupe complains to Matias that Marisol refuses to eat anything.  She only hopes this phase will soon pass.  Matias can understand. Love can be like Project Runway:  One day you're in.  The next day, you're out.  Lupe assumes then that his noviecita has him on cloud 9, right?  Oh, yeah.  Why he's even planning to buy a car now because of his chicky-baby.  Lupe's surprised to hear this since he's never had the need for one before and has always wanted to save his money.  Matias explains how his chicky-baby doesn't like public transportation and insists on only the best.  So he's gonna have to break the piggy bank and take out a loan for the rest.  Lupe advises him to set the girlfriend straight.  If she loves him she should accept what he's able to afford.  Matias wouldn't think of it.  What if she breaks up with him?

Depa de Irais
Irais is busy cleaning while Joveth is busy munching on cookies.  Joveth suggests she hire a cleaning service.  They throw jabs at each other.  In the end, Joveth tells Irais she's not taking advantage of Matias. She's just educating him on how to enjoy life.  He should thank her.

Centro de Desterrados
Christian and Silvana are basking by the pool, even though there doesn’t appear to be any sun.  Christian is boasting about Dani's future as a singer.  Silvana has noticed he's paying way too much attention to Dani and reminds him he's in that house to put an end to Greta.  He assures her they will soon rid themselves of the bruja Greta without leaving a trail of evidence.  He wonders, though, if things really happened the way their mother told them.  He understands Greta made Octavio leave their mother.  But he never fought for her.  Silvana argues it was only that he didn't have time to fight for her.  Greta made sure to rid herself of their mother before Octavio could do anything.  Greta was so cruel, so ruthless (despiadada).  Silvana thoughtbubbles back to the day her mother died.  We see the young Silvana receiving a beribboned package intended for her mother, Romelia.   She thought it was a gift from Octavio, but she was wrong.  We see Romelia opening the note accompanying the gift and it reads, “This will solve your problems.”  When she opens the package, tan-tan-TAN!  It's a gun, complete with another box containing 5 bullets.   She takes the package and runs from the room.  Young Silvana picks up the note and reads it.  Back in the present, Christian asks if she's sure it was sent by Greta.  Silvana is sure.  No one else could have sent it.

Mar de Amor
Finally!  The Tortolitos are leaving.  They thank Tere for all her help.  No prob, she says.  Then she says Chava is one of their favorite clients.  Wait, he's brought others here?  They don't clarify and dumb bunnie Sofia doesn't ask.  Sofia walks back to take a last look and their Mar de Amor, “I'm really going to miss this place.”  Chava  walks up to her and says, “It's 'Our Place'”  Great dialogue (snicker)

Centro de Desterrados
Christian insists on knowing what was in that box.  Silvana explains she didn't know until later.  If she had known, their lives would have been very different.  Back in the thoughtbubble, Young Silvana appears to be dressed in mourning.  She's distraught as she packs what I believe are her mother's things.  She comes across the box the gun came in and finds a bullet.  She cries out, “Damn that Greta Ripoll!  You sent that gun.  You killed her.  You killed my mother!”  Back in the present, Christian consoles his sister.  “Greta Ripoll sent the gun that killed our mother?” he asks.  Silvana confirms Greta sent their mother the means to commit such a crazy act.  That's why Greta must pay.  Christian must continue with the plan and pave Greta's road to her grave.  “I want to see her loca, sick, and destroyed! I want to see her daughters suffer.  I want to see them shed more tears than we shed for our mother.  I want Greta Ripoll to pay for her crime!”  She leans into Christian and they shed yet more tears.

Casa de Ripoll
ruh-roh!  Greta's back in the attic, going through that trunk again.  She sniffs one of Octavio's hankies and realizes that yes, it was his cologne she smelled in her studio.

Casa the Miguelina
Rosa comes to visit.  Lucas says he only agreed to this visit because he wants to learn more about his father.  Miguelina makes herself scarce to leave them alone to talk.

Father/Son outing – The force is strong in this one
Geronimo takes Oliver out for a makeover.  He's fitted for a suit.  Those green pants must be the first to go.  “This is how a man dresses, son.”  Oliver complains he's not comfortable.  “Well, you need to change.  You need to learn from the hard knocks of life.”  Oliver doesn't think a suit will accomplish that.  “You have a point,” says Geronimo.  “But a good suit is like the armor of a warrior.  It imposes your presence to your enemies before and after the battle.  Everything else comes from you:  strength, faith in yourself, faith, manliness/uprightness (hombria).  You have all this.  It's in your blood.  You just refuse to see it.”  Oliver shrugs, “Well, if you say so.”  Geronimo instructs the tailor to bring something more elegant, something that will give him more presence.  He tells Oliver to just let himself be guided by his father.

Another Father/Son outing in a neighborhood far, far away
Nandito is really happy he was able to spend the whole weekend with him.  He only hopes his mother will allow him to spend a lot of weekends there.  Armie thinks Irma is finally getting the message that everything is better when they're not fighting like perros y gatos.  Armie lets Nandito check out some toys so he can call Alexa.  He tells her she looked very pretty in the paper.  He noticed the paper commented on the chemistry between her and Paolo.  She explains they're just good friends and that's important in creating their roles for the movie.  She senses his sadness and tell him what she does in her life doesn't change her feelings for him.  Those feelings are still in her heart.  Armie misses her and understands they could have been together if his situation had changed faster.  He explains how things are getting better.  Irma has calmed down and isn't causing problems as often.  He hasn't told Irma about their breakup.  Armie under the impression that Irma has come to realize there can be nothing between them now and it's best for Nandito if they just get along.  Alexa is happy to hear this and is especially happy for Nandito's sake.  She tearfully asks Armie not to call her again.  It's too painful to hear his voice and not go running into his arms.

Avances
The Tortolitos return to the tempest brewing at home.
Chava confronts Lucas for humiliating his sister
Sofia can't believe what happened

Oh goodness! I want to see more Pato.

I'm sooooo glad the beach scenes are finally over!

Will Darth Peralta woo Dulliver over to the Dark Side? I doubt it but it would be fun to watch.

Love your recaps Paquita.

"He's so angry he even throws a perfectly good cigar overboard"

Gosh, can't that bumbling boob Paco keep his foot outta his mouth? How about lying? Here, let me help. Honey, I was fondly remembering our time when you were a little girl. Instead he blubbers, I'm pasting the face of Sofia over yours so I can create a history with my favorite child.

Doubt there was hot water in that shower.

Indeed, how many women has Salvador brought to the love shack and bet told the same thing.

Darn, I thought Christian figured it out only for Silvana to recollect a different reality.

Thanks so much Paquita! Gotta run, but had to say how much I giggled at your Darth Peralta references. :)

How much you want to bet that Octavio was the one who sent that gun?

Excellent recap Paquita.

"Something is wrong with Dulliver. He's home, but he's a lot duller than usual" and "Peralta bares his snaggly teeth," were among my favorites.

Oliver is a really nice kid and I hate to see him so bitter and angry. Understandable he is upset, but I hope he doesn't turn vengeful. While I'm glad to see his father supporting him, I wish he had done in a different way.

Matias, if you buy that car, you are an idiot!

Vivi, I think you are right! I bet Octavio did send the gun. I always thought he was despicable despite Greta's assertions to the contrary.

Diana

Peralta just pulled a Luscious Lyon from Fox's Empire LOL: giving his son advice!

I'm wondering how Marisol will take Lucas being with Dani ? Will she plot havoc again ?

Paquita, thank you. I really enjoyed your recap this a.m.

The good:

Finding out the circumstances of Silvana's mother's suicide. Vivi, Diana, I agree that it was probably Octavio who sent the gun. It fits the image of him that has been created.

The bad:

Not more lovey dovey beach time at the love shack. Between Oliver bawling on his couch to Greta being upset and muy mal (but never mal enough to just die already) I found it to be very tedious.

The funny:

I actually felt sorry for Aracely when Paco told her about the family photos he was giving Sofía but not her. No photos for you!!!! What an ass!

Jarifa

Well, Paco did give Aracely the house, the store, and complete power of attorney over all his worldly goods. But yeah, it was incredibly stupid of him to tell her he was giving some photos to Sofia.

He gave Araceli all that prior to knowing Sofia his daughter. If he had a do over, we all know the beneficiary. Paco's not stupid but his heart rules his head and why he cannot hide his glee the princess his child and Araceli would have to be deaf, dumb and blind not to notice. That is what I think frustrates Araceli, there is no rational argument based on fact (ie, she grew up with him and Sofia new to the table) or fit she can throw that changes Paco's preference.

I'm so,so,so glad the beach scenes are over! My goodness, move on already. They're in love ok, move on! But it looks like it was set-up to the family blow up over the break-up. Looks like Chava and Sofia are going to be pitted against each other because of their siblings.

Paco, Paco, Paco...Wow. Just wow. I'm begging for more screentime for you, giving you props and thats what you do? I thought he was looking at the photos to remember the good times between him and Arecily, and that's what he should've told her but nope. I agree, he should've lied and told her he was thinking about her and wanted to see her photos. She would've ate it up. He's completely bungled this thing from the beginning but now I think he's pushed her over the edge. I think Aracily will start leaning towards psycho-chick Irma's way of thinking because of this.

Yovet, Mattias storyline is very predictable and boring. I don't even pay attention when they are on screen.

Lucas just gave peralta the golden opportunity to turn his son into his exact clone.

Bryan, sure agree this could be what pushes Aracely closer to Irma's way of thinking. All Paco had to do was give Aracely a collection of photos that he selected just for her first. But nope, he didn't even think of giving her any. He does need to end up with Greta. Lupe doesn't need a guy who is incapable of thinking beyond his own needs. Maybe she will end up with Tavares.

Jarifa

And, what does Paco do when Araceli came in the door? Second thing out of his mouth was moaning about Sofia before she even sat down. Run, Lupe, run.

Based on the flashback, we now know that Silvana Blanco is indeed her real full name and not an alias which makes me even more confused as to why Greta is not recognizing her in any way - by name or face. I don't know the details about what Greta knew about Romelia and her family but Silvana wasn't a baby at the time, she was a teenager and would have looked similarly enough to how she looks now as an adult to be recognized. Plus, add in having the same name and I don't get it.

Count me in on thinking that it was Octavio who sent the gun, not Greta.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the gun being sent situation. I liked how they have Silvana playing her mother in the flashback, i thought that was a nice touch. I also believe that it was Octavio who sent the gun.

I always have difficulty remembering past storylines. Do we know who Silvana and Christian's father is? What if it's Octavio! OMG. My head will explode!

Did Greta actually meet her husband's lover's children in the past? Or even know his lover's name? Greta seems to be the type to just always refer to a husband's sidepiece as "esa zorra" or stte.

Paquita, No we don't know the identity of Silvana and Cristian's father. We have speculated here before that it might be Octavio. I have also wondered why Greta doesn't recognize Silvana or her last name. It could be that Greta didn't know anything about Octavio's affair. We have never seen her acknowledge any infidelity on his part, we only have the story from Silvana's perspective. Greta has had flashbacks about Octavio threatening her with a knife and threatening Paco so it would seem that she'd also remember if he was a womanizer. I have a feeling that Greta knew nothing about the affair. Perhaps Octavio told Romelia that Greta found out only as an excuse to end things and/or get rid of her.

XInt - I am am pretty sure that Greta referenced Romelia a couple episodes ago when thinking/talking to herself in her studio. She was under the impression that she was a crazy, stalker that had an obsession with Octavio and Octavio promised Greta that he never cheated on her with Romelia or something like that..
she was going on and on about the vows/promises she made to Octavio and broke for the millionth time and how he was supposedly faithful to her. Maybe someone else can elaborate. I don't really remember very well.

Thanks, Paquita. Fine recap. I appreciate the vocab. I too loved this zinger: The maid back at Penthouse de Perdición calls to say something is wrong with Dulliver. He's home, but he's a lot duller than usual.

ITA Greta didn’t send the gun. She’s dumb, but she’s not evil. Seems a pretty drastic way for Octavio to rid himself of a no longer wanted mistress though. I’m wondering if there’s somehow an unknown third party in this suicide. Silvana is normally shrewd, so it’s a shame she jumped to conclusions like this.

I like Cristian when he's dissing Pato to Silvana. If only he weren't killing Greta and a psycho for Dani.

Thank you Paquita---You helped me
to understand what I couldn't from the movie. A great and complete recap.

Paco should just give up. He can't get it right no matter what.
Bryan you had it right. If Paco would have told her that he had been thinking about her and pulled out some picture memories, that would have been perfect but no, he was going to give Sophia the pictures. THINK Paco THINK!

Not sure about the love shack. Chava had brought others there before? That could have dumped ice water on the weekend.

Can't wait to see what's the next move for Marisol and Dulliver.

Linda, you are right. It was in Friday's episode. Greta was talking to Octavio. She told him that he was a good husband and referenced the obsession Romelia had for HIM. So she knew about problems with Romelis but evidently Octavio put Romelia in a whole other context. Looks like Octavio fed Greta a line of bull and she was more than happy to believe it.

I sure hope Silvana turns out to be a Ripoll girl.

Good evening everyone, I see that Paco just told Araceli "No pictures for you".

She's going to file a lawsuit at some point!
