Mi corazon es tuyo #107 Fernando starts wooing Ana from long distance... Sarai keeps annoying everyone... Isa has a close call but does not get to see Ana at Chicago. However she begins to work a plan to hurt Ana hard.

Refritos:

Luz shows Fanny and Leon the fortune cookie message. ‘if someone leaves your life is sometimes so that their seat is free (for someone else)’.

Leon tells Luz Mau fell asleep waiting to see her.

Ana tells Fanny she has to go work at Chicago. Fanny says I will take care of Luz.

At Houston, Fernando talks to Natalia and Diego about Ana then. Fernando tells Diego have got no clue about Soledad Fuentes yet. And have not checked email since cell phone battery is dead. Fernando asks Natalia how she fell for Diego. For his values, for his gentleness.

Isa is heading to see Doroteo but sets her phone to check Fernando’s email through it.

YoMama nags about DoroTeo not contacting her recently.

Angel refers to Soledad as ‘Mama Sol’. He realizes whoever is looking for her on the web site might know where her daughter is so he responds to the request with Soledad’s location (El Oro) and her job (children’s choir director).

Isa gets the email and is jumping for joy.

Lo Nuevo:

Leon and Mau are leaving. Fanny has Luz in her arms so Leon comments they are already looking like a mom and dad. Love you. Fanny is heading to take Luz to bed when Sarai comes down the stairs with two house maids ordering around how to wash her clothes, sneezing and complaining about the dust. She can’t sleep in the girls room. Fanny says you have the living room, the couch or there is a foyer. Sarai keeps whining.

Edith has something to show Fanny… her brother… seems Edith has given Nando a makeover. He looks a bit more mature and less nurdy even if he still has glasses on. His hair is more natural and smiles widely.

At Chicago, they are introducing ‘Yolanda’ (wow! None other than YoMama!!!) DoroTeo is so shocked I am not sure when he will pick up his jaw from the floor… YoMama grabs the pole and starts swinging around it. Now it is DoroTeo who is having a nightmare… loL!

Isa calls Angel. She fakes being real happy that she found her. She asks Angel if Soledad had a daughter. Angel is suspicious so he asks what relationship does Fernando have with Soledad’s daughter.

Fernando is daydreaming about Ana while Ana, in the Chicago, is thinking she has to tell the truth to Fernando.

Angel is in disbelief. Isa tells him that Soledad’s daughter Blanca is looking for her. Angel is so elated, ‘you can’t imagine how long we have been waiting for this moment’.

Fernando finally charges his phone, Fanny tells him that Luz has some fever. Fernando talks to Luz. She is a bit out of it from the fever… Luz does tell Fernando that Ana is not with her. Fernando is miffed but not out of control. Fanny sends greetings to her uncle Diego and sends him good vibe for his surgery tomorrow.

At Chicago the crowd is shouting calling for Ana. Ana comes out and does her show.

Isa tells Angel that she can arrange for a meeting between mother and daughter Soledad and Blanca. She keeps feeding him all the drama about the daughter having looked for her mom for a long time. And that Fernando is the first one interested in getting the two to meet. YoMama can’t believe the evil of her daughter and how she is deceiving the guy.

Jennifer is in Ana’s dressing room, still with her blues. Ana gives her some encouragement…

Sarai is in the kitchen giving Fanny and Manuela some directions… Fanny is not appreciating it.

Fanny calls Ana (I guess to relay Fernando’s reaction to Ana not being home)

Doroteo seems to threaten Johnny some more with promo post cards about his fight.

Fernando finally gets to his email but looks like he notices something wrong.

Angel is getting ready to meet ‘Blanca’. He is hopeful Soledad will finally meet her daughter.

Edith and Nando, he says now its her turn to fulfill her part of the deal. She seems to have issues with doing it. But they end up smiling so it can’t be that bad what they agreed on. He is smiling wide.

The twins are having fun ‘playing’ air filled electric guitars on their beds. Fanny comes in.

In the kitchen, Sebastian has come in and is mocking Sarai’s way of eating her fresh fruit… they have a bit of an argument back and forth, with Manuela (since she is the new Manuela) staying out of it.

At Chicago, Isa has arrived. In the dressing room, Ana is talking to Fernando on the cell phone. He seems to be very understanding but asking for explanation why she is not at the house.

Isa goes into Doroteo’s office and finds Johnny there. She nags and nags. She is arguing with DoroTeo, my guess is that it is about her upstairs neighbors.

Doroteo leaves the office with Isa, Dana and Johnny discuss what to do about this.

Ana is announced… several times… but Isa is getting the itches about being at the Chicago… and says a derogatory comment that Ana even has name of a trash club dancer.

At the dressing room, Johnny has bumped into Ana and finally Ana learns that Isa is out there… When the announcer comes looking for Ana, she asks him to hold back a bit. By the time Ana has no choice but to come out to dance, Doroteo has sent Isa to the door to wait for the valet to bring her car. Ana’s cell keeps ringing in the dressing room, it is Fernando calling again… Jenn tells Johnny she can’t stand Nico’s pushing her away anymore.

Sebas comes down running to let Sarai listen to some hip hope music. But she pushes him rudely saying the headphones are not sterilized… He gets upset and leaves. She remembers hearing her parents arguing and hears her dad yell at her mom that she can take Sarai who is just like her, insufferable!! (wow! That is tough on a little girl).

Twins come to Sebas with a plan for another prank to play on Sarai… He says count me in.

Nando is reading some poem. Edith comes in behind him with another makeover, this time a bit in between, she still has her hair black and a bit spiked but her face is clean… its like Elisa’s face in Edith’s hair and outfit. He is totally into it. They kiss, but as Nando pushes her on the bed, she reacts abruptly very fearful. She runs out. He falls on his chair totally confused.

Ana arrives at the house and calls Fernando back. He is disappointed in her. But she puts Luz to bed. Ana thinks as she looks at Sarai ‘who knows what issues/problems you have at home to behave the way you do’. Ana continues her conversation with Fernando. He wants to tell her something but can’t get himself to… finally he says ‘I miss you.’(she has a very funny and emotional reaction but stays as quiet as she can) he repeats ‘I miss you very much, my Ana Leal’ with a big sigh (she is about to faint, she fans herself).

Previews: Seems either Ana or Fernando have a dream of a very romantic encounter. But Isa puts to practice her plan to deceive Soledad playing her daughter…

Thanks, Marta, for another great recap!

Best Part: Doroteo's nightmare with Yolanda and her pole dancing. I loved it!

Worst Part: Ana saying to herself that she has to tell Fernando about her dancing at Chicago. So, when already?

Another boring, filler episode which went nowhere.

Hopefully we get through the Isabruja / Soledad scene in just a few episodes and the writers don't drag this storyline out forever.

Looks like Isabruja missed Ana's pole dancing routine.

More pimp, slave holder Doro; more stupid, inept, ugly UGLY Johnny; more of everything worthless to the making of a good novela!

Woo-hoo, thank you Marta! As always I enjoy your detailed recap, much appreciated!

So Fer saw a notification on his phone about Dr Angel's email message, but when he looked later it was gone? How could that happen? I am not looking forward to this segment, hope they don't draw it out too long.

I'm glad Edith washed off her makeup and revealed herself to Nando (as Edith). Was remembering parallel with Nando's Dad and "Lola", with the hidden identity. This one will have a quicker and happier conclusion.

Thanks so much Marta. I kept bailing on this episode during certain scenes and certain characters, so grateful for filling in the details. Some days the filler and the "same old thing" is just not worth watching.

I had a feeling we were fed a ruse on Isa finding out about Ana. Waste of time.

My guess is that Dr.Angel was one of the charges that Soledad taught long ago or helped (orphaned himself?). I second the fact I want her duping Soledad to come out as fast as possible.

I get that Sarai can be a pain, but Ana needs to let the other kids know that this little girl is going through a tough time. This constant stream of pranking people is getting old. Broke my heart to hear her remembering the argument. If she is now in our story, then I don't want her to be an outcast in the house.

What the heck with the fortune that Luz got? Was that supposed to imply her mother and Ana? Yeah, not a fan if that was the implied message.

Poor Edith, had a feeling her past trauma would come back, but hopefully she can be honest with Nando and they can work through together. He has the practice of working through trauma with someone he cares about....poor guy. He does have to work hard with his lady loves.

Thanks for the great recap....

Dear Nando,
You really blew it. You are not very interesting, yet you went from being a nerd/geek who people made fun of, to having women practically throw themselves at you, in spite of your nerdiness. You had a chance to tell Edith: "You are unique and beautiful, don't change anything about yourself." You are not helping Edith, who has REAL problems. Now without the eye treatment, she looks like some weird hybrid and probably lost some self-confidence. If she is smart, she will dump you...Lenin is a better choice--he seems to accept Edith as-is and he is more interesting and compassionate.

Great stuff, Marta.

Novelas are like opera in that you can't have them without villains even when said villains make you cringe. However, I thought Doroteo's nightmare hilarious.

A quick aside: Many years ago I tended bar in a place that had topless dancers at night. One afternoon a regular came in and talked about the dancer who worked the previous evening, saying she was obese. As in possibly 300 lbs.

After I picked my jaw off the floor he said that the place was packed. I was speechless for about five minutes, which is difficult to achieve.

I am going to guess that Fernando's notice of the deletion of a an e-mail isn't going to be drawn out too long. Yomama was unmasked rather quickly when she pretended to be Ana's mother so I don't think that Hissabela is going to get away with this one for long. Especially with Yomama disapproving of it.

I keep hoping Ramona will rat them out eventually.

I had major trouble with the audio and static in my dvdr again last ngiht, need to check my other dvdr tonight but from what i remember seeing i saw the screen in Fernando's phone as he read it and it showed the calls from Ana and Fanny and also the email subject from Angel Aureliano: I know Soledad Fuentes. Fernando was surprised, but i am not sure if he was surprised because the email was deleted or read previously or if he was just surprised he got a response that seemed to be a good lead.
I agree that Edith with the Elisa makeup but with her old hair and outfit looks 'alien'-ish. I prefer a midway that also includes her hair and outfit. not Fanny-esque, but a normal college age girl who wants to be herself and feels confident enough to do so.

and yes, most of last night was filler and this is why i was not worried i was not able to hear most of the time... except i had to guess what was going on in the Nando/Edith scene which seemed to be the only memorable one.
Did Diego give Fernando anything? or are we still waiting to find out what it is Diego sent Natalia to the apt for?>

poor Nando... at the short age of 17 he has four girls that have expressed interest in him...
1. Ximena (with her bipolar depression)
2. Laura (with her interest and selfishness)
3. Brianna, a bit too young even with common interests
4. now Edith, with her goth appearance and when she is getting over that she has the trauma he just saw last night... i wonder what is going through his mind now... is he attractive only to girls who have some kind of dependency? or girls who are not 'normal'

Ooh, Marta, interesting observation about Nando only attracting "unsuitable" girls. I think they meant to have him be "made over" with his new hair style, but the bow tie is still killing it.

J in Oregon

I totally agree about the bow tie. He needs to lose that and the pullover sweater.

Interesting that he's going from a sex-crazed bipolar chick to one that's been traumatized. He's being forced to grow up very fast now.

BTW, I have a photo gallery for the weekend. Does anyone mind if I post it early?

“Morpheus, who ever knew you had such a sense of humor?” said Hermes. “Best laugh I've had all millenium!”

“I was inspired,” he said. “Doroteo deserves a few nightmares after what he's done to others.”

“True,” said Aphrodite. “We need to find a way to make sure that Fernando becomes his worst nightmare. That was a too-close call Ana had this time.”

“Yes,” sighed Athena. “You know, Ana isn't stupid. She could think of a way to explain this to Fernando. She should have told him ages ago.”

“Oh, no doubt because she only made it harder for herself. She's got to play the Lola card.”

Thank you so much Marta, another wonderful recap.

I thought the fortune cookie had been given to Ana by Angel and she must have given it to Luz.

Dana was the one that saved Ana last night, arguing if Ana discovered, she'll get fired and lose her kids, thus becoming an unhappy dancer and an unhappy dancer is not a profitable dancer.

The new Edith didn't look good at all.

Another round of Ana, and others for her, lying their butt off and everybody thinking it alright. I feel bad for Fernando. He needs someone better than Ana now. He's grown as a person, she is more deceitful. Going in opposite directions.

i am not sure about playing the lola card is a good move ... its not about turning the coin to point at him... its about making him UNDERSTAND her REASONS for working there and, more importantly, her REASONS for keeping that info from him (considering his old self as 'Don Frio', his former being so 'cuadrado', but not necessarily making it obvious about his double standard with 'Lola').

and yes, tofie, the right move does not include undermining Ana's faults or bringing his to the surface... it is about emotional interpretation and feelings.

yes, the fact that 'all of them' lied to Fernando is not going to be an easy pill to swallow for him, and i have to give him reason in that.

thanks for the detail about Dana convincing Doroteo to hide Ana from Isa... i could not hear anything so i figured Dana was trying to help so thanks for the detail.

Thank you, Marta, for the informative recap!

Soooo, Nando just lost his virginity a few weeks ago, and he's ready to seduce a girl in his bedroom, with his brothers and sisters right outside the door, once his dad's away in Texas? Houston, we have a problem . . .

Natalia fell in love with Diego for his 'values?' Girl, he's a playa!

I assume the fortune cookie offers some cosmic message to Ana: if Fernando's away, you and Dr. Angel can play . . .

YOLO was too funny on the pole, shaking her booty and all!

I'd love to see the photo gallery, Urban!

EB, that is what I read into the fortune cookie message and hate how convenient Ana has an out should Fernando become upset she is lying to him. She gets a new hot dude to cushion the fall and my guess he'll be alright with her dancing and Fernando made out to be some stuck in the mud neanderthal.

EB, if that's the direction of the fortune cookie, then I hate the idea that we have to take another good guy and at some point break his heart or trash him so that Fer comes out on top. And that Ana maybe doesn't love quite as much, etc. etc, blah blah we've heard it already.

I took Edith's "look" as her simply going to the washroom and washing off the makeup but not taking the time to do the whole change as she did before. I still think she'll maybe find a place in between the two looks to settle on.

Daisynjay

Marta: loved the recap. Thanks for the double duty.

Loved Luz’s and Mau’s goodbyes.

Loved the formal Sarai/Sebes talk in the kitchen.

The actress who plays Sarai is doing an excellent job.

Where does Isa think this is going? She meets Soledad. Alienates her, I’m assuming. Yet Fer doesn’t know what’s going on and continues to look for Sole and will eventually find her and Isa will be outted. I'm confused.

Poor Nando. Another girlfriend with major issues.

My thought was that the fortune was directed towards Fanny and Leon.

I think both Nando and Edith are making their transformations in stages. They probably will take turns, making it a game.

Nanette

I agree, Nanette. Fernando might be slow and rigid at times but he is not dumb (ok, usually not). and he will catch up to what she has done...
However, the fact that Fernando will know Angel from somewhere else will come into play and that is something Isa does not know about. Like you said, Isa won't be there every time Angel sends an email... so is she expecting to be able to catch and delete all communications of Angel-Fer? Maybe Isa does not think Fernando will dig deep enough when the 'Isa playing Soledad's daughter' scam comes up to surface.

Isabela doesn't know Angel is filling in for the doctor that usually treats Fernando's children. She's the idiot here

I don't think she's even met the regular doctor nor has she ever discussed any of the kids' medical stuff with Fernando. She was never interested in them at all beyond the attempt at getting them shipped off to boarding schools.

He will see through this one pretty fast.

In other words: Isa's an idiot.

Probably. She should have considered how Yomama's deception backfired.

When this comes to light Fernando should change all the locks and get a restraining order.

Weekend Photo Gallery is up. Disfrutala!

Fernando better change all his passwords too

Yes, indeed.

I agree with Nanette. I think Edith and Nando are taking turns in making changes. I guess his bowtie will be the next thing to go.

BTW, my Cuban coworker says that her family finds Johnny very funny, and that Viewerville's dislike of him must be a cultural thing.

Also, I checked out a couple of videos of pole dancing champions on You Tube, and after seeing them, I think SN is doing a fantastic job of replicating what they're doing. At least at the championship level, pole dancing seems more athletic than sexy.

As for sexy dancing, nothing beats a good West Coast Swing, as shown by these dance teachers from Houston. And you don't have to go to a sleazy bar to see it.

Post it please! Would love to see it!!
